Maile, you ‘ll need to obtain a User ID and Password from Roy McDonald. Go to http://www.saigonkids.com/index.html
Then Click on ‘Contact Us’ tab on menu. Email Roy and request a ID and Password. He’ll email it back to you.
After he emails your ID and Password, just login thru the ‘Login’ tab on the menu. Duh! LOL
Bob
Maile,
Good to see you posting, you’re one of the only ones I’ve had the pleasure of contacting since those days. Hope all is well with you and your family.
Hi Ralph,(You know I only think of you as R.E. don’t you?)I will try to be a grown up about you using your given name.
My family is doing very well. My husband, Bill, is teaching full time at The University of Findlay and I have retired from the United Way, but am still involved with service to my community.
Are you still in Williamsburg and have you had your son’s wedding? My son was married last March in Omaha to a very lovely lady, Kate. Send me some pictures of you and your family and I will send you some of mine. My email address is mdoyle@woh.rr.com. Best regards to you, my friend, M
Bob,
A small suggestion. Since our Saigon days were soooo long ago and so much has been forgotten, I think it would be great if everyone would email you two photos, one now and one then. I know I’ve forgotten name and faces and photos would be a great mind shaker for all of us. What do you think? Ken
Ken … I think that is an excellent suggestion … and would fit in great with the launching of the Photo Gallery for the Blog, etc. (PLUS, it will save us both from the “I can’t remember them all … lovely ladies disorder” … ha ha ha
I also think it could be of benefit in the area of we all came and went over such a long period of time, that many of us never had the pleasure of knowing each other while we lived in Saigon. Example, most anyone who was in Saigon after Feb. 1961 when I departed, I never knew. I’m sure it is the same for many others. And, in many cases those we knew and hung out with had younger brothers and sisters that because of the age difference we never saw much of or did much with them, etc. (i.e. – 11th graders didn’t hang out with 5th graders much, etc. )
Does anyone else have any thoughts on the subject and/or constructive suggestions and comments? If so, lets hear them …
Thank you, Ken for the suggestion!
Bob
Bob,
Does any one know what happened to Terry Coleman? We hung out together in ’61.
Tom
Tom – Yes, Terry passed away from cancer as a result of his involvement with the 911 Rescue efforts. I’ll put a post on the Blog about it next week.
