Greg Moore has joined us in the Blogosphere. Greg was at ACS during 1964 and 1965.
Greg is now living in Washington State with his wife Sandi. I’ll let him fill you in on the rest of the details of his life since departing Saigon.
He has quite a collection of American Community School and Saigon memorabilia which he’ll be graciously sharing with all of us Saigon Kids.
He is in the process of scanning and converting them to eBook (pdf format) and will be forwarding them to me as he completes them. Once received I’ll be uploading them to the blog for your viewing pleasure.

Sunday In Germany
By Ken Yeager
This missive is written only for those that have nothing better to do. You are warned!!!
It’s Sunday morning here in Großhansdorf (that ß is a double “S” in German) and I’ve just come in from cleaning the snow off the sidewalk leading to the house here. We have had the worst winter in 30 years according to the news reports with some areas really being hit hard. Großhansdorf got about 8 inches on Friday night/Saturday morning and that was work, I tell you. Last night was just a good dusting, enough to make the snow look clean again. My bird feeders are full but because I don’t want to track up the back yard (it looks like a winter wonderland) the feeders are really too close to the house. But that’s the bird’s problem, not mine. Have you ever wondered what “really” happened concerning the Capital Kinh Do Theater bombings? Or, the Pershing Field Sports Stadium bombing? Or, the U.S. Embassy bombing? Or, the Floating Restaurant bombing? Or, the many, many other bombings and terrorist acts that took place in Saigon and Viet-nam?
Once again Kathy’s continuing research has paid off concerning events that took place while many of us were in Saigon.
Her latest find on the Internet is “The Study of the Use of Terror by the Viet Cong” The Mariah Project (MAC/SOG).
This is a 41 page “Secret” report and study outlining Viet Cong acts of terror throughout Viet-nam during the period of 1957 though early 1966. The study was completed as part of the Phoenix Project.
It includes detailed information about the Pershing Field bombing, U.S. Embassy bombing and the Capital Kinh Do Theater bombings. As well as, many other events. Continue reading The Mariah Project Secret Documents Reveal Truth About Capital Kinh Do Theater Bombings
Sunday In Germany

Good Morning Saigon Kids where ever you may be.
OK, it is Sunday morning, the dishes are done and I am sitting here typing this note/letter/epistle/tome/whatever. My wife tells me it is -11ºC ( 12.2ºF ) outside and I wish I was with Sarah Bush in Hawaii, enjoying I hope warmer weather. I am not a winter person. I hate raking leaves and acorns (prelude to winter), shoveling snow, driving on ice, and being cold. But what can I do? I promised my wife that when we retired from the Foreign Service, we would return to Germany and live there. Not being the sharpest tack in the box, I failed to consider winters and cold weather. And now I am stuck unless I consider divorce…nahhh, that’s out of the questions, so here I sit in my fluffy warm slippers, sweater and fleece jacket. Continue reading Sunday In Germany: Just a Ramble

I came across a piece on the Internet concerning Quang Duc’s immolation on June 11, 1963. We had just arrived in Saigon about two weeks before and lived approximately two blocks from Xa Loi Pagoda.
