Once you’ve Registered on the Blog, you are classified as a ‘Contributor’. Contributors are authorized to make Posts and Comments to the Blog. The reason for the ‘authorization’ process is to keep the ‘Blog Spammers’ from being able to make Posts or Comments to the Blog. I’ve installed a number of filters to block Spammers, but some still figure out how to get through the filters, etc.
As a ‘Registered Contributor’ you are authorized to make Comments to others Posts, and have your Comments go live immediately. Here is how it works …
If you DO NOT ‘Login’ before making Comments, your comments are held for approval before going live on the Blog.
If you DO ‘Login’ before making Comments, your comments are not held for approval before going live on the Blog.
So if you want your Comments to go live immediately … Login before making comments.
