No tribute or memorial, no matter how well intentioned, will ever ease the pain of those who lost loved ones in the September 11th horrific event. Still, we, the living, must do what we can to help those in need by honoring those who were lost. All of the people who were killed by the crashes and those who have subsequently lost their lives and health due to their heroic efforts to save lives, are in my thoughts this day.

Our flag is flying proudly today in memory and in honor of those who gave so much on 9/11 as well as in the days and years following the evil deeds of that day. For the heroes of those attacks and their families whose lives are forever changed, we stand tall and pledge never to forget their sacrifice.
Our flag is at full-staff. We have vowed never to bow it to the results of terror and an attack on our nation. God Bless America.

Terry Coleman and I were classmates and friends in 1960-61 at ACS. I have memories of him teaching me how to comb a duck tail as well as playing chess with him at the Circ. We miss you Terry!

My flag is flying for Terry and all those we remember today. Thinking of you Jerrilynn. Your husband was a hero and we are fortunate to have had him as a classmate and friend.

We remember those who suffered because of 9/11. We thank those who continue to go into harm’s way to keep us safe.

  • No volume of tribute will ever replace the grief and loss of friends and family members of 9/11. No closure. Thank You Terry.

Let us all fly our flags proudly! It is great to be an American! My granddaughter was born tonight and named in momorary of her mother Joan Elizabeth Berger who passed on 29 Jan 2005. Life does go on!
