Saigon: Viet-namese New Year – TET 2009 – (Part 5)

The second day of Tet is for visiting the wife’s family and close friends. Some shops have opened and a few lottery stands are busy selling chances to people who feel lucky. Everyone is out on the street parading around in their new clothes.

Do you remember everyone out and about in Saigon, all dressed up on the 2nd day of Tet?

I recall it always gave me a warm fuzzy feeling to see so many entire families all dressed up in their new clothes cruising around Saigon.

As always, you are welcome to leave your comments below.

Chuc Mung Nam Moi! :)
